PENGGUNAAN METODE MIND MAP UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMANDIRIAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan hasilbelajar IPS melalui metode pembelajaran mind map pada siswa kelas V SD Wukirsari, Bantul.Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, dengan subjekpenelitian siswa kelas V SD Wukirsari, Bantul yang berjumlah 34 siswa.Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian inidilaksanakan dua siklus. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, angket, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian ini adalah minimal persentase rerata kemandirian belajar siswa mencapai 65% kategori baik dan 76% dari total keseluruhan siswa mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) ≥ 75.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemandirian dan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan metode pembelajaran mind mapyaitu peningkatan kemandirian belajar mencapai 59,8% pada siklus I menjadi 74,5% pada siklus II. Persentase siswa yang tuntas KKM juga mengalamipeningkatan yaitu dari 32,4% pada siklus I, dan 85,3% pada siklus II.

Abstract
This research aims at increasing self-reliance and social studies learning result using mind map method in social studies of class V SD Wukirsari. This type of this research was a Classroom Action Research, with 34 students of SD Wukirsari Bantul as the subject of the research. The research design adapted from Kemmis and Mc Taggart models. This research was conducted in two cycles. The data were collected through observation, quisionaire, and test. The technique of the research were quantitative and qualitative description. The indicator of research is the minimum percentage of the average social skills which reached 65% good category and 76% from the total of students reached Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) more than 75. The result of this research shows that there was a raising self-reliance and social studies learning after use mind map method in which the improving of self-reliance that reach 59,8% in cycle I and improved to 74,5% in cycle II. The percentage of students who passed KKM also improved from 32,4% in cycle I, and 85,3% in cycle II.
