PENINGKATAN COLLABORATION SKILL SISWA SEBAGAI KECAKAPAN ABAD 21 MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN MODEL COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE TEAM ACCELERATED INSTRUCTION (TAI) MATA PELAJARAN IPA DI SD NEGERI KOTAGEDE 1

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan collaboration skill siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) pada siswa kelas IVB SD Negeri Kotagede 1, Yogyakarta. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan model Kammis & Mc Taggart yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 29 siswa kelas IVB SD Negeri Kotagede 1. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan angket. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi keterlaksanaan tindakan dan angket collaboration skill siswa. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Terdapat peningkatan collaboration skill siswa dari pra siklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Pada observasi aktivitas guru siklus I diperoleh skor sebesar 60% menjadi 92% pada siklus II. Skor capaian observasi aktivitas collaboration skill siswa kategori sangat baik meningkat dari 0% pada siklus I menjadi 86,2% pada siklus II. Skor hasil angket collaboration skill siswa yang masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi pada siklus I meningkat dari 34% pada siklus I menjadi 79% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) dapat meningkatkan collaboration skill siswa kelas IVB SD Negeri Kotagede 1.

Abstract

This research aims at knowing the improvement of student’s collaboration skill using cooperative learning model Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) type on the fourth grade students in Kotagede 1 Elementary School.  This classroom action research used Kammis&Mc Taggart consist of planning, action & observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were 29 students of fourth grade in Kotagede 1 Elementary School. The data collection  techniques used in this research were observations and questionnaire. The research instruments were observation and questionnaire sheets. The research data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative method. There are some significant improvements in student’s collaboration skill from pre-cycle, first cycle, and second cycle. Teacher activities scale in the first cycle which was 60% becoming 92% in the second cycle. Student activities scale in the first cycle was 0% and becoming 86,2% in the second cycle. Questionnaire scale for students in very high category was increased from 34% in the first cycle and becoming 79% in the second cycle. Therefore, the implementation of cooperative learning model Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) type is proven to be effective in improving student’s collaboration skill on the fourth grade students in Kotagede 1 Elementary School.
