PENINGKATAN PERCAYA DIRI SISWA MENGGUNAKAN METODE BERMAIN PERAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan percaya diri siswa menggunakan metode bermain peran pada siswa kelas III SD N 1 Karangsari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas III SD N 1 Karangsari, yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi dan skala sikap. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian ini adalah tercapainya ≥75% dari keseluruhan siswa berada dalam kategori tinggi dan/atau sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan percaya diri siswa setelah menggunakan metode bermain peran yaitu dari 32,14% siswa ketika pra tindakan menjadi 75% siswa pada siklus I dan menjadi 85,71% siswa yang berada pada kriteria tinggi dan/atau sangat tinggi pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, terdapat peningkatan percaya diri siswa kelas III SD N 1 Karangsari antar siklus pra tindakan, siklus I dan siklus II.

Abstract
This study aimed to increase student’s self-confidence using role playing method for grade 3rd students of SDN 1 Karangsari. This study was a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 28 students from grade 3rd of SD N 1 Karangsari. The design of this study used Kemmis and Mc taggart model. This study was conducted intwo cycles. Data were collected with observation technique and attitude scale. Data analysis technique was quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The success indicator of this research was if ≥75% of the students were in the high or very high category of self-confidence. The result of this study show the improvement of student’s self-confidence after using role playing method. Before the action, there were only 32,14% of the students, after cycle I it became 75% of the students, and after the cycle II, 85,71% of the sudents from grade 3rd were in a high and/or veryhigh criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an improvement of student’s self-confidence from grade 3rd SD N 1 Karangsari among pre-action, cycle I and cycle II.
