ANALISIS KESALAHAN PENULISAN EJAAN PADA KARANGAN BAHASA INDONESIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kesalahan: (1) pemakaian huruf, (2) penulisan kata, (3) pemakaian tanda baca, dan (4) penulisan unsur serapan pada karangan bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SD N 1 Karangsari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analisis konten yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi kesalahan pada empat aspek ejaan pada karangan siswa. Pertama, kesalahan pemakaian huruf meliputi kesalahan pada huruf kapital dan miring sebanyak 232 kasus atau 30,60% dari jumlah kesalahan ejaan. Kedua, kesalahan penulisan kata terdiri dari kesalahan kata dasar, berimbuhan, kata depan, kata ganti, angka dan bilangan, serta singkatan sebanyak 196 kasus atau 25,85% dari jumlah ejaan. Ketiga, kesalahan pemakaian tanda baca meliputi kesalahan tanda titik, koma, tanya, seru, dan petik sebanyak 284 kasus atau 37,47%. Keempat, kesalahan penulisan unsur serapan berasal dari unsur bahasa Inggris, Arab, dan Jawa sebanyak 46 kasus atau 6,08% dari jumlah kesalahan ejaan. Kesalahan ejaan tersebut berasal dari kurangnya pemahaman tentang kaidah berbahasa yang baik dan benar dan dapat diperbaiki dengan pendekatan proses.

Abstract
This study aims to describe the error of: (1) the use of letters, (2) word writing, (3) the use of punctuation, and (4) the writing of absorption elements in Indonesia essay of 5th grade students of SD N 1 Karangsari. The result shown that there were 758 spelling errors in the student's essay. First, the errors of the use of letter that consist of errors of capital and italic was found as many as 232 cases or 30,60% of the amount of spelling errors. Second, the errors of word writing that consist of errors of words, affixed and suffixed word, preposition, pronomina, numbers and abbreviations was found as many as 196 cases or 25,85% of the amount of spelling errors. Third, the errors of the use of punctuation that consist of dot, comma, question mark, exclamation mark, and quotation mark was found as many as 284 cases or 37,47% of the amount of the spelling errors. Fourth, the errors of the writing of absorption elements came from language elements of English, Arabic, and Java was found as many as 46 cases. Those spelling errors came from the lack of understanding of the good and correct language rules and it could be improved by a process approach
