PENGARUH PEMBERIAN REWARD TERHADAP KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS IV SD NEGERI JATISARONO DAN SD NEGERI 1 NANGGULAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian reward terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas IV SD Negeri Jatisarono.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Eksperimental, tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD N Jatisarono sebagai kelompok eksperimen (21 siswa) dan kelas IV SD N Nanggulan sebagai kelompok kontrol (28 siswa). Obyek penelitian yaitu keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala keaktifan belajar. Validitas instrumen melalui expert judgement. Teknik analisis data menggunakan t-test independent yang sebelumnya telah diketahui normalitas dan homogenitas data.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pemberian reward terhadap keaktifan belalajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas IV SD N Jatisarono. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rata-rata pada ­pre-observation kelompok eksperimen sebesar 67,67 dan post-observation sebesar 77,76. Pada kelompok kontrol rata-rata pre-test sebesar 71,54  dan skor post-test sebesar 71,54. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan pemberian reward terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika yaitu sebesar 0,001 < 0,05.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of using reward in mathematics course for 4th grade at SD N Jatisarono. This research was experimental research. This research used quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group’s type. The subjects of this research were students in 4th grade of SD N Jatisarono. The subjects were 21 students of SD N Jatisarono and as control group were 28 students of SD N Nanggulan. The objects of this research was liveliness of students mathematics’s learning. The instrument used scale of liveliness learning. Instrument validation used expert judgement. Data analysis techniques used independent t-test which known the normality and homogenity before. The result of this research show that there was influence of giving rewards to students. This result proven by the increase of average mathematics’s course in pre-observation from 66,67 to post-observation 77,76. The control group’s result show that pre-observation was 71,54 and the post-observation was 71,54. The result show that there was significant influence of giving reward to liveliness student’s learning on mathematics course which equals to 0,001< 0,05.
