PENANAMAN NILAI KARAKTER KEDISIPLINAN MELALUI PENGEMBANGAN DIRI SISWA KELAS IV SD N IROYUDAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penanaman nilai karakter kedisiplinan siswa kelas IV SD N Iroyudan, Pajangan, Bantul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kelas IV SD N Iroyudan Bantul dengan narasumber antara lain kepala sekolah, guru di kelas IV, dan siswa. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan komponen analisis data konsep Miles dan Huberman (reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan). Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman nilai karakter kedisiplinan di kelas IV SD N Iroyudan Bantul dilakukan melalui program pengembangan diri melalui kegiatan rutin meliputi guru menghimbau siswa datang ke sekolah sebelum pukul 07.00, mengajak siswa berdoa sebelum dan sesudah belajar, meminta mengumpulkan tugas tepat waktu, menghimbau siswa piket sesuai jadwal, mengucapkan salam bila bertemu orang lain, mengingatkan siswa untuk mengenakan pakaian rapi dan lengkap, dan menghimbau siswa mengikuti upacara bendera hari Senin. Kegiatan spontan meliputi menegur siswa yang ramai, memberikan pengenalan aturan bagi siswa yang melanggar, memberikan nasihat maupun pesan moral, memberikan hukuman kepada siswa yang ramai dengan teguran atau peringatan, menegur siswa yang berpakaian tidak seragam, menghimbau siswa yang membuang sampah sembarangan, melerai siswa yang bertengkar, menegur siswa yang berkata tidak sopan, menegur jika ada yang mencoret-coret fasilitas sekolah. Keteladanan meliputi guru menjadi contoh dengan bersikap baik, berjabat tangan ketika sampai di sekolah, memberi penjelasan jika datang terlambat ke sekolah, memberi contoh untuk menghormati tamu yang datang ke sekolah, berpakaian rapi dan sopan, mengikuti upacara pada hari Senin, berbicara sopan, dan tidak membolos saat mengajar. Pengkondisian meliputi larangan membuat kegaduhan di kelas, menjaga toilet agar tetap bersih, menyediakan tempat sampah, menempelkan slogan-slogan, menempelkan aturan di kelas, dan menyediakan alat kebersihan.

Abstract
This study aims to describe the cultivation of the dicipline character value of the IV grade students of SD N Iroyudan, Pajangan, Bantul.This research used qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were the fourth grade students of SD N Iroyudan, Kecamatan Pajangan, Kabupaten Bantul. Meanwhile, the principal, the fourth grade teacher and the students were the respondents. The data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation study. The data analysis technique used component of data analysis concept of Miles and Huberman (data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion). Technique and source triangulation were used as the validity of the data. The results showed that the investment of disciplinary character values in the fourth grade of SD N Iroyudan Bantul was conducted through self-development program through routine activities covering the teachers appealed to students to come to school before 07.00, as judge students to pray before and after studying, to collect tasks on time, to picket up on schedule, say hello when meeting other people, remind students to wear a well-groomed outfit, and call on students to follow the flag ceremony every Monday. The spontaneous activities include warning the misbehave students, introducing the school rules to the students who break them, giving the students advises or moral messages, punishing the misbehave students through warning or admonition, warning the students wearing inappropraite uniform, warning the students who litter, breaking up a fight, admonishing the students to swear and also admonishing them to scribble the school facilities. The exemplification covers being a good role model, shaking hands when arriving at school, giving the students explanation when they are late, dressing appropriately and politely, attending the flag ceremony on Monday, talking politely and never be absent in the teaching and learning process. Conditioning includes the restriction to not make noise at the class, keeping the toilets clean, providing dustbin bags, sticking slogans on the wall, sticking rules posters on the class wall and providing the cleaning tools.
