PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE PICTURE AND PICTURE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Wonosari IV dalam pembelajaran IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan& observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI berjumlah 20 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada pra tindakan, siswa yang hasil belajaranya memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) sebanyak 8 anak atau 40%. Setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture pada siklus I, jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM yaitu 13 anak atau 65%. Pada siklus II, siswa yang memenuhi KKM meningkat menjadi 17 anak atau 85%. Peningkatan diikuti dengan meningkatnya kerjasama antar siswa.

Abstract

This research aim at improving student learning outcomes of sixth grade at SD Negeri Wonosari IV in science learning through the application of cooperative learning model picture and picture type. The type was a classroom action research model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of 3 stages of planning, action & observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research were the sixth grade students, which amounted to 20 students. Methods of data collection used tests and observations. The research was conducted in 2 cycles. The result show on the pre action, the students whose learning fulfill the minimum mastery criteria (KKM) was 8 children or 40%. After implemented learning with cooperative learning model type picture and picture in first, the number of students that reached KKM was 13 children or equal to 65%. In second cycle, students who pass the KKM increase to 17 children or 85% is also followed by the increase of cooperation among students.
