PELAKSANAAN GERAKAN LITERASI DI SEKOLAH

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SD Negeri Gembongan, Sentolo, Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sekolah telah melaksanakan GLS ditinjau dari komponen litrerasi, prinsip literasi, dan tahapan  literasi yaitu tahap pembiasaan, pengembangan, dan pembelajaran. Faktor pendukung kegiatan literasi antara lain sosialiasi melalui paguyuban, pelatihan bersama USAID, penyediaan sarana prasarana serta dana. Sedangkan, faktor penghambatnya adalah labilnya semangat peserta didik, kondisi peserta didik lebih siap terlebih dahulu daripada guru, minim dukungan pihak luar, serta belum mendapat pendampingan operasional.

Abstract

This research aim at describing the application of School Literacy Program at SD N Gembongan. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive type. The subjects were the students from grade V SD N Gembongan. Techniques of data collection used observation, interview and documentation study. Techniques of data analyze were data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Validity test of the data used triangulation of technique and triangulation of source. The result of the research show that SD N Gembongan had applied School Literacy Program reviewed by the component, principle, and stages of School Literacy, the habituation stage, the development stage, and the learning stage. Factors that support literacy activities are socialization through association, USAID joint training, provision of infrastructure and funding. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are unstable spirit of the students, the condition of the students which more ready than the teacher, the minimum support from outsider, and school has not receive operational assistance to improve program application.
