ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA BAHASA JAWA PADA SISWA KELAS II

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan membaca bahasa Jawa pada siswa kelas II Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 11 Gunungkidul. Aspek yang diteliti yaitu ketepatan siswa dalam melafalkan bacaan bahasa Jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di MI Negeri 11 Gunungkidul dengan subjek penelitiannya siswa kelas II. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes kemampuan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan uji kredibilitas dan uji realibilitas. Sedangkan aktivitas analisis data dilakukan melalui data reduction, data display, dan data conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca bahasa Jawa siswa kelas II MI Negeri 11 Gunungkidul terbagi menjadi tiga tingkat, 3 siswa berada di tingkat mandiri, 3 siswa berada di tingkat berkembang dan 16 siswa berada di tingkat perlu bimbingan. Kesalahan yang ditemukan ketika siswa membaca bahasa Jawa antara lain kesalahan penggantian, kesalahan penambahan, kesalahan penghilangan, kesalahan pembalikan, dan kesalahan pelafalan fonem.

Abstact

The research is to describe the 2nd grade students of Java language reading ability in MI N 11 Gunungkidul. Aspect of this research is the rightness pronounciation of Java language reading. The research used qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subject of researched was 2nd grade students in MI N 11 Gunungkidul. Data collected technique were ability test, interviewing, and documentation. The validity test of data were done with the test of credibility and reliability test. While data analysis activities were done through data reduction, data display, and data conclusion drawing/verification. The result of research indicated that 2nd grade students of Java language reading ability in MI N 11 Gunungkidul are classified to 3 level, 3 students in independent level, 3 students in developed level and 16 students by needed guidance. The mistakes found were replacement mistake, adding errors, mistaken of disappearance, reversal errors, and phonemes pronounciation mistake.
