PENGARUH PERSEPSI SISWA MENGENAI POLA ASUH ORANG TUA TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS III SD

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi siswa mengenai pola asuh orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Bantul Tahun ajaran 2017/2018.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Bantul tahun ajaran 2017/2018 sejumlah 721 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 257 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional random sampling. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah pola asuh orang tua dan motivasi belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologi. Uji validitas yang digunakan adalah uji validitas konstruk. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha. Uji prasyarat analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan linieritas. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi sederhana.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: persepsi siswa mengenai pola asuh orang tua berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Bantul tahun ajaran 2017/2018, terbukti dari persamaan regresi Y= 31,331 + 0,243X dan nilai thitung = 5,009. Persepsi siswa mengenai pola asuh orang tua dapat memprediksi sebesar 9% terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, sedangkan 91% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain, terbukti dari nilai R square sebesar 0,090.

Abstract

This research is to investigate the influence of students perception on parenting styles towards students’ learning motivation of grade III at public elementary schools in Bantul sub-district in the academic year of 2017/2018.This study was an ex-post facto research. The population of this research were 721 students of grade III at public elementary schools in Bantul Sub-district in the academic year of 2017/2018. The proportional random sampling technique with the number of samples counted as 257 students. The variables of this study were the parenting styles and students’ learning motivation. The data collecting technique was using the psychological scale technique. The validity test was using the construct validity test. The reliability test was using the Cronbach’s Alpha measurement. The prerequisite test was using the normality and linearity test. The hypothesis test was using the simple regression test.The result of this research shows that: students perception on parenting styles has significant influence on students’ learning motivation of grade III at public elementary schools in Bantul sub-district in the academic year of 2017/2018, it is indicated by the regression equation of Y= 31,331 + 0,243X and tobtained = 5,009. Students perception on parenting styles can predict the 9% of the students’s learning motivation, whereas the 91% is influenced by other factors, it is indicated by the R square of 0,090
