PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN MELALUI KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER KEPRAMUKAAN DI SDN GEDONGKUNING

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter disiplin di SD Negeri Gedongkuning melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, pembina ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan, guru dan siswa kelas III sampai V. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Langkah analisis data meliputi, reduksi data, penyajian data, pengambilan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tahap perencanaan meliputi penyusunan prodik, materi latihan rutin, pembuatan peraturan, buku presensi, dan sosialisasi seragam. Kegiatan dalam prodik sudah terlaksana dan diikuti siswa dengan baik. Karakter disiplin sudah terlihat, diantaranya siswa hadir tepat waktu, berpakaian rapi dan lengkap, dan menaati peraturan. Evaluasi dilakukan saat latihan rutin. Nilai disiplin yang dikembangkan antara lain: nilai ketaatan, nilai ketertiban, nilai kepatuhan, nilai kesetiaan, dan nilai keteraturan. Manfaat ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan adalah membantu siswa mengembangkan karakter melalui latihan-latihan kepribadian dalam kepramukaan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of character education of discipline at SDN Gedongkuning through extracurricular activities of scouting. This was descriptive research with qualitative approach. The subject were the principal, scoutmasters, teachers and students of the 3rd until 5th grade. Observation, interview, and documentation were used to collect the data. The analysis of the data consisted of reduction, presentation, and verivication. Credibility test were triangulation of technique and source. The result shows the planning include forming the programs, materials, rules, presence book, and uniform socialization. The programs are done well. The discipline already visible among the student presence before the whistle sound, wear the nice, complete and fit clothes, and obey the rules. Scoutmasters do evaluation stage during the routine activities. The value of discipline that can be developed among obedience, compliance, loyalty, regularity, and order. Scouting activities are help student to develop their character through the personality practice.
