Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika melalui media kartu pecahan di kelas III SD Negeri Kaweden. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri Kaweden. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar matematika melalui media kartu pecahan di kelas III SD Negeri Kaweden. Hasil observasi pada siklus I dan II menunjukkan meningkatnya partisipasi aktif guru dalam pembelajaran melalui media kartu pecahan dari 88,16% menjadi 94,08%. Sedangkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran melalui media kartu pecahan dari 81,77% menjadi 90,10%. Peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siklus I dan siklus II sebesar 30% yaitu sebanyak 16 siswa (59%) menjadi sebanyak 24 siswa (89%) yang mencapai KKM dari jumlah seluruh siswa yaitu 27. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar dari siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebanyak13,93 yaitu dari 69,40 menjadi 83,33.

Abstract

The research aims at improving the mathematics learning output of the 3rd grade students of SD Negeri Kaweden through fraction cards media. This research was a classroom action research. The subjects of this research were 3rd grade students of SD Kaweden. The data collection techniques used in this research were test, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed in qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive ways. The result indicates that there is an improvement in the mathematics learning output through fraction cards media of the 3rd grade students of SD Negeri Kaweden. The observation result in cycle I and II showed the increasing of the teacher participation in the learning process from 88.16% to 94.08% with the fraction cards media. Meanwhile, the students’ participation rate in learning using this media increased from 81.77% to 90.10%. There was 30% improvement of mathematics learning output in cycle I and cycle II from 16 students (59%) to 24 students (89%) who reached the passing grade from the total 27 students. The average score of the learning output from cycle I to cycle II increased 13.93 points from 69.40 to 83.33.
