Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil identifikasi perilaku agresif pada siswa tunalaras. Subyek penelitian merupakan siswa tunalaras yang memiliki perilaku agesif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisi data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan hasil kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan guru mengenai perilaku agresif belum mendalam. Perilaku agresif yang dilakukan oleh siswa tunalaras dengan bentuk fisik (non verbal) contohnya memukul, menendang, melempar, merusak, dan mendorong serta perilaku agresif dengan bentuk verbal contohnya mengeluarkan kata-kata kasar, megancam, mengomel dan berbicara sendiri, membantah, dan menangis. Perilaku agresif yang dilakukan memberikan dampak negatif. Perilaku agresif belum ditanggapi dengan serius oleh guru. Upaya pencegahan yang dilakukan belum sepenuhnya berhasil untuk mengurangi perilaku agresif yang dilakuakan siswa tunalaras.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out and described the process and results of aggressive behavior identification of emotionally handicapped students. The subjects of the research were emotionally handicapped students who had aggressive behavior. This research used qualitative approach with data collection technique using observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data collection, data reduction, data presentation and withdrawal of conclusion. Data validation techniques used were source triangulation and technique triangulation. It can be concluded from the research that teacher's knowledge of aggressive behavior had not been fully understood. Aggressive behavior performed by emotionally handicapped students in the form of physical abuse (non-verbal) like hitting, kicking, throwing, damaging, and pushing. In addition, verbal abuse also occurred like swearing, threatening others, nagging and self-talking, talking back to others, and crying. Aggressive behavior that occurred can give negative effect to other students. This aggressive behaviour had not been taken into account seriously by the teachers. Prevention had not been fully successful in reducing aggressive behavior that occurred among emotionally handicapped students.
