KEEFEKTIFAN METODE PERMAINAN TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR IPS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan minat belajar IPS antara kelas yang diajar dengan metode permainan dan metode ceramah, serta membandingkan keefektifan metode permainan dan metode ceramah terhadap minat belajar IPS.Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group.Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SD Muhammadiyah Bayan yang terdiri dari 48 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi serta skala minat untuk pre-test dan post-test. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan minat belajar IPS antara kelas yang diajar dengan metode permainan dan metode ceramah (thitung = 2,187 > ttabel = 2,01). Hasil uji-t pada peningkatan minat belajar siswa juga menunjukkan nilai thitung> ttabel (3,892 > 2,01), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode permainan efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract
This research aims at knowing the differencesbetween learning interest of social studies of class with the game method and class with the lecturing method, also compare the effectiveness of game method and the lecturing method to learning interest of social studies. This research was a quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The subject were 3rd grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Bayan consisting of 48 students. Data were collected by observation and interest scale for pre-test and post-test. Data analysis technique using t-test. The results shows that there is significant difference of learning interest of social studies betweenclass with the game method and class with the lecturing method(tvalue= 2,187 > ttable= 2,01). T-test results of interest increase also shows that tvalue> ttabel (3,892 >2,01), so it can be concluded that the game method is more effective to improve student’s learning interest.
