UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PERCAYA DIRI SISWA MENGGUNAKAN METODE BERMAIN PERAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan percaya diri siswa menggunakan metode bermain peran pada pembelajaran IPS kelas IIIB MI Ma’arif Patalan Bantul. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IIIB MI Ma’arif Patalan yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara semiterstruktur, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa percaya diri siswa kelas IIIB MI Ma’arif Patalan meningkat. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil persentase jumlah siswa yang memiliki percaya diri kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi pada siklus I 42,86%, siklus II 64, 28%, dan siklus III 76, 81%.

Abstract

This research aims at increasing students confidence using role playing method in social studies of class IIIB MI Ma’arif Patalan. This type was a classroom action research. The research was conducted in three cycles. The subjects of this research were the students class IIIB MI Ma'arif Patalan which amounted to 28 students. The research using Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model. Data collection techniques used observation, semistructure interviews, and field notes. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results show that students confidence of class IIIB MI Ma'arif Patalan are increase. This is evident from the result of the percentage of students who have high confidence category and very high in cycle I 42,86%, cycle II 64, 28%, and cycle III 76, 81%.
