PENINGKATAN PERCAYA DIRI DAN HASIL BELAJAR MELALUI MODEL INKUIRI TERBIMBING

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan sikap percaya diri dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN Gembonganmelalui penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa semester II tahun ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang berkolaborasi dengan guru kelas. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala sikap percaya diri, lembar observasi guru dan siswa, dan soal evaluasi siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan sikap percaya diri dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV di SDN Gembongan. Skala sikap percaya diri siswa mengalami peningkatan 9,14% yaitu sebesar 73,96% pada siklus I menjadi 83,10% pada siklus II. Selanjutnya persentase tuntas belajar juga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 26,92% yaitu sebesar 73,08% pada siklus I menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan sikap percaya diri dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstrak

This research aims to improve the self-confidence and science learning outcomes of students in 4th grade SDN Gembongan through guided inquiry model impementation. The subject of this research was students in second semester of 2017/2018 which the populations was 26 students. This research was classroom action research that colaborated with teacher’s classroom. The instruments of this research were scale for self-confidence, observation sheet for teacher and students, and evaluation for students. Data analysis in this research used qualitative descriptive and quantitative. The result of this research shows that guided inquiry model impementation can improv the self-confidence and sciece learning outcomes. The student's self-confidence score improved by 9.14% that was 73.96% in cycle I to 83.10% in cycle II. Furthermore, the percentage of completed learning also improved by 26.92%, that was 73.08% in cycle I to 100% in cycle II. So it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model can improve the self-confidence and student’s learning outcomes.
