PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MATERI PERKALIAN DAN PEMBAGIAN PECAHAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER
Abstract

Abstract
This research aims at improving students learning achievement in class VA of SD Negeri Giwangan using cooperative learning model especially Numbered Heads Together type in mathematics subject focusing on fraction multiplication and division learning. This Classroom Action Research used Kemmis and Taggart model. This research consisted of following steps; plan, action and observation, reflection. The subject of this research were 30 students. The execution of this research was conducted in 2 cycles. The data collecting techniques were test, observation, and documentation. The result of this research shows that the implementation of Numbered Heads Together models can improve the matematics fraction multiplication and division learning achievement. In pre cycle, there were 8 students or approximately 26,66% of 30 students who got score more than 70 (≥70). In cycle 1, there were 70% students (21 students from 30) that achieved score more than 70. Later in cycle 2, there were 28 students from 30 (93,33%) who got score more than 70. These result shows that the implementation of Numbered Heads Together can improve learning achievement as much as 23,33% from cycle I to cycle II.
