PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN PENDEKATAN PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi jaring-jaring kubus dan balok pada siswa kelas IVB SDN 2 Sumberagung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pre-experimental dan rancangan
yang dipilih adalah one-group pretest-posttest design. Jumlah siswa yaitu 23 siswa, yang terdiri dari 13 siswa putra dan 10 siswa putri. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dan observasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes dan lembar observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan statistik deskriptif dengan menentukan mean untuk kemudian dibandingkan peningkatan antara pretest dan posttest serta diuji dengan uji-t untuk mengetahui signifikansinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi jaring-jaring kubus dan balok pada siswa kelas IVB. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 43.48 meningkat menjadi 86,95 pada nilai rata-rata posttest. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of using realistic mathematics education approach toward students mathematic learning achievement of nets cube and block subject in grade IVB SDN 2 Sumberagung. This is an experiment research with pre-experiment design and the chosen plan in this design is one group pretestposttest design. The total subject of this research is 23 students, consist of 13 boys and 10 girls. The data was collected by test and observation. The instrument used in this research were test and observation sheet. Data
analysis technique used the descriptive statistic by determining the mean, and then compare the increase between pretest and posttest and tested with t-test to determine the significance. The result of this research showed that realistic mathematics education approach has positive effect toward student mathematic learning achievement of nets cube and block subject in grade IVB. The average score of prettest achieved 43.48 and increased to 86,95 at the posttest. T-test results showed that the use of realistic mathematics education approach effected significantly to mathematic learning achievement.
