Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan alasan tingginya prestasi akademik di SD Muhammadiyah Domban 3. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Tempat penelitian di SD Muhammadiyah Domban 3. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi nonpartisipatif, wawancara semiterstruktur, dan
dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Keabsahan data dengan cara uji kredibilitas meliputi triangulasi teknik, sumber, dan bahan referensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa prestasi akademik dipengaruhi oleh dukungan masyarakat atau orang tua siswa, kebijakan kepala sekolah, banyaknya kegiatan sekolah, dan tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa. Dukungan masyarakat atau orang
tua siswa ditunjukkan dengan pemberian bantuan berupa uang, motivasi, tenaga, penyediaan tempat belajar, dan penambahan prasarana sekolah. Kebijakan kepala sekolah ditunjukkan melalui pelaksanaan jam ke-nol dan les siang sejak kelas awal. Banyaknya kegiatan sekolah ditunjukkan dengan penambahan jam belajar di setiap kelas. Tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan ditunjukkan melalui pengajaran yang intens oleh guru dan pengintegrasian keterampilan dalam pembelajaran. Sementara itu, sistem penerimaan siswa tidak mempengaruhi prestasi akademik.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the reason for the high academic achievement in SD Muhammadiyah Domban 3. This research was qualitative research. The place of this research in SD Muhammadiyah Domban 3. Data collection techniques used observation nonparticipant, semistructured interviews, and documentation. The measures include the reduction of data analysis, data presentation, and verification. The validity of the data by means of a test of credibility include triangulation techniques, resources and reference materials. The results showed that academic achievement was influenced by the support of the community or the parents and the school principal policy, quantity school activities, and the level of knowledge and skills of students. Support of community or parents demonstrated by the provision of assistance in the form of money, motivation, effort, providing a place to learn, and the addition of school infrastructure. Policies principals demonstrated through the implementation of the clock to zero and tutoring during class since the beginning. Quantity of school activity was indicated by the addition of learning hours in every classroom. The level of knowledge and skills demonstrated through intense teaching by teachers and integration skills in learning. Meanwhile, the admissions system does not affect academic achievement.
