IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PADA PESERTA DIDIK DI SD NEGERI SINDUADI 2

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter pada peserta didik beserta faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambatnya di SD Negeri Sinduadi 2. Bentuk penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis melalui
reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) implementasi pendidikan karakter di SD Negeri Sinduadi 2 dilakukan melalui integrasi dalam proses pembelajaran, pengembangan budaya sekolah seperti kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, pengkondisisan, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seperti pramuka, BTA, seni tari, karawitan, TIK. Proses penanamannya dengan hidden curriculum, sosialisasi peraturan, dan pembiasaan. Nilai karakter yang ditanamkan yaitu religius, disiplin, sopan santun, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, cinta damai, peduli lingkungan, peduli kesehatan, peduli sosial, dan menghargai budaya. Implementasinya sampai tahap moral doing tapi belum maksimal. (2) Faktor yang mendukung yaitu adanya keinginan peserta didik untuk berubah, kerjasama antarguru dalam mendidik, dan dilaksanakannya program sekolah yang mendukung karakter. (3) Faktor penghambatnya yaitu kebiasaan buruk peserta didik, keterbatasan pengawasan guru, kurangnya perhatian orang tua, dan kondisi lingkungan masyarakat yang kurang mendukung.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education learner along with the supporting factors and the inhibiting factor in SD Negeri Sinduadi 2. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation study. Data were analyzed with
measures of data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Data validity checking techniques using triangulation sources and techniques. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of character education in primary schools Sinduadi 2 is done through integration in the learning process, the development of school culture as routine, spontaneous activity, exemplary, conditioning, and extracurricular activities such as scout, BTA, dance, musical, ICT. The process of planting, namely the hidden curriculum, socialization of rules, and habituation.
Embedded value among religious character, discipline, courtesy, the spirit of nationalism, patriotism, love of peace, care for the environment, health care, social care, and respect for culture. In this case the implementation has reached the stage of doing moral but not maximized. (2) Factors that support the desire of students to change for the better, motivation and cooperation in educating teachers to teacher, and implementation of school programs that support the characters. (3) Inhibiting factor were the bad habits of learners, the limited supervision of teachers, lack of parental and community environmental conditions are unfavorable.
