UPAYA GURU MENANAMKAN NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER PADA PROSES PEMBELAJARAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya guru menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada proses pembelajaran di SD Karanggondang Sewon Bantul. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas sebanyak 4 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dimulai dengan mengadakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahaan data menggunakan triangulasi metode dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa upaya guru menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada proses pembelajaran seperti : (1) Guru memberi teguran kepada siswa jika ketahuan menyontek. (2) Guru memberi nasehat kepada siswa jika tidak melaksanakan piket kelas. (3) Guru selalu patuh dan taat menjalankan agama yang dianut. (4) Guru sanksi/hukuman jika siswa terlambat ke sekolah. Faktor pendukung, sekolah sudah menyediakan fasilitas yang kondusif kepada siswa. Faktor penghambat, bersumber dalam diri anak berupa anak malas, keinginan bermain yang berlebihan, sikap tidak mau dididik atau sikap melawan.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the teacher’s efforts to inculcate character values on the learning process at the elementary school of Karanggondang Sewon Bantul. The research approach was qualitative with the research type was descriptive. The research subject was 4 classroom teacher. Data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis technique was started by holding data collection, data reduction, data interpretation and conclution. Data validity testing technique used triangulation method and resource triangulation. Research result showed that the teacher’s efforts to inculcate character values on the learning process, namely: (1) the teacher gave reprimand to the students if they are cheatting. (2) The teacher gave advice to the students if they do not obey class-on-duty. (3) The teacher always obeyed and fulfilled to conduct their religion. (4) The teacher gave sanction/punishment if the students are late coming to school. The supporting factor, the school institute had provided conducive facilities to the teacher. The inhibitor factor sourced from the students themselves, namely laziness, over-willing to play, unwilling to be thought or offering resistance.
