PENINGKATAN DALAM MENULIS SURAT MELALUI PENDEKATAN PAKEM KELAS V SDN WINONGO BANTUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil pembelajaran menulis surat melalui pendekatan PAKEM di kelas V SDN Winongo Bantul. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Desaian penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V berjumlah 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Data di analisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa. Pada pratindakan ke siklus I menjadi 8,2%, sedangkan dari siklus I ke siklus II meningkat menjadi 10,4%.

Abstract
This study aimed to inprovethe learning proces and outcomes of letter writing throungh the PAKEM approach in Grade V of SDN Winongo, Bantul. This was a classroom action research (CAR) study. The research design used the model by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The research subjects were grade V student with a total of 26 students. The data were collected through observations, documentation, and interviews. They were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed. The results showed that the students’ mean score from the pre-cycle to Cycle I was 8.2% and that from Cycle I to Cycle II was 10.4%.
