PENGGUNAAN MEDIA VIDEO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR IPA KELAS IV SD NEGERI BAKALAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar IPA dengan menggunakan media video pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Bakalan, Kecamatan Sewon, Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Subjek dalam penelitian ini
adalah siswa kelas IV B SD Negeri Bakalan yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Sementara instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan lembar angket. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan minat belajar IPA kelas IV B SD Negeri Bakalan. Hasil penelitian siklus I, menunjukkan 4 siswa belum mempunyai minat untuk belajar dan memperhatikan pelajaran. Pada penelitian siklus II sudah mulai terlihat hampir seluruh siswa sudah memiliki minat belajar yang tinggi dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media video, dimana pada saat pemutaran video pembelajaran siswa terlihat memperhatikan dan merasa senang dengan proses pembelajaran tersebut, dan siswa terlihat sangat berantusias untuk mengikuti pelajaran dan berani untuk bertanya. Pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata
kelas 78,27, ketuntasan ada 19 siswa atau 83% dan belum tuntas 4 siswa atau 18%. Pada siklus ke II hasilnya mengalami kenaikan yaitu rata-rata kelas sebesar 81,31 dan ketuntasan ada 21 siswa atau 92% dan belum tuntas ada 2 siswa atau 9%, dengan demikian ada kenaikan rata-rata dari siklus I ke siklus II.
Selain itu minat belajar siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran juga meningkat. Hal ini ditandai dengan meningkatnya minat belajar siswa terhadap pelajaran IPA.

Abstract
This study aimed to improve the Science learning interest through the use of audio-visual media for Grade IV students of SD Negeri Bakalan, Sewon District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. The research subjects were Grade IV B students of SD Negeri Bakalan with a total of 23 students. The data collecting techniques in the study were the observation, interview, and questionnaire. The data collecting instruments were an observation sheet, an interview guideline, and a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis techniques were qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of the study showed that there was an improvement in the Science learning interest of Grade IV B students of SD Negeri Bakalan. Results of the first cycle studies, showed 4 students does not have an interest in learning and paying attention. In the study the second cycle is starting to look almost the entire student already has a high learning interest in following the process of learning by using video media, at which time video playback student learning visible attention and was pleased with the learning process, and students were very enthusiastic to follow lessons and dared to ask. In cycle I obtain the average of class score as much 78,72, the completeness were 19 students or 83% and incompleteness were 4 students or 18%. In cycle II the result was improved that the average of class as many 81,31 and the completeness were 21 students or 92% and incompleteness were 2 students or 9%, therefore there was an improvement of average score from cycle I to cycle II. Except that, the learning achievement of students in followed the learning was also improved. It signed by the improvement of learning achievement of students on IPA learning.
