PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA POP-UP BOOK TEMA PERISTIWA UNTUK KELAS III SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah pengembangan media Pop-Up Book dan mengetahui tingkat validitas media Pop-Up Book yang dikembangkan. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Pakem dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas III sejumlah 29 siswa dengan rincian 3 siswa pada uji coba perorangan, 6 siswa pada uji coba terbatas dan 20 siswa pada uji pelaksanaan secara luas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan penulis mengacu pada model penelitian dan pengembangan Borg dan Gall. Model ini terdiri dari 3 tahap. Tahap tersebut yakni (1) studi pendahuluan yakni melakukan observasi; (2) studi pengembangan media meliputi perencanaan media, pembuatan prototipe,
validasi oleh dosen ahli dan uji pelaksanaan kepada siswa; dan (3) studi evaluasi yakni diseminasi. Dikarenakan adanya keterbatasan peneliti, pengembangan produk hanya sampai pada tahap validasi dosen ahli dan uji pelaksanaan kepada siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar angket untuk validasi media oleh dosen ahli dan lembar angket untuk respon siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas media Pop-Up Book yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik (SB) dengan rata-rata 4,62 dari ahli materi dan rata-rata 4,67 dari ahli media. Respon siswa terhadap media Pop-Up Book pada uji pelaksanaan lapangan mendapat rata-rata 4,31 dengan kategori
sangat baik (SB)

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to describe the stages of developing media Pop-Up Book and find the validity level of media Pop-Up Book which was developed. The research was done in Pakem 1 Elementary school with the subject of research are 29 students of third grade class, consist of three
students for personal trial, six students for limited trial, and 20 students for wider trial research . The method used in this research is research and development (R&D). The procedures used by the author refers to the Borg and Gall research and development model. This model of research consist of 3 stages. They are (1) the beginning study by observating (2) the developing study consist of media design planning, creating protoypes, validating the media done by lecturer expert and doing field trial to the students (3) the evaluation study or dissemination, This stage were done because there is a limit of the
researcher, where the developing product reach only the stage of validation by lecturers expert and product trial to the students. The instrument used in the reseach is questionnaire sheet for media validation by expert lecturers and questionnaire sheet for the student responses. Based on data analysis can be concluded that the quality of the developed media Pop-Up Book was included in the excellent category, with the average score of 4,62 from matter expert and an average score 4,67 from media expert. Students response to media Pop-Up Book on the implementation of field trials got an average score 4,31 with the excellent category.
