PENGARUH CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) TERHADAP SIKAP PEDULI LINGKUNGAN SISWA KELAS IV DI SD NEGERI SELANG KECAMATAN WONOSARI KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Selang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen berbentuk Quasi Experimental Design Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design yang menggunakan
kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen diberi perlakuan menggunakan CTL, sedangkan kelompok kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu CTL, dan variabel terikat yaitu sikap peduli lingkungan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa
kelas IVA dan IVB SD Negeri Selang yang berjumlah 42 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu angket untuk mengumpulkan data tentang sikap peduli lingkungan, dan observasi untuk mengumpulkan data tentang proses pembelajaran. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar angket dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan membandingkan nilai rata-rata post-angket kelompok eksperimen dan
kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh penggunaan CTL terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan untuk siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Selang Kecamatan Wonosari Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan melalui hasil perhitungan rata-rata skor post-angket dimana rata-rata kelompok eksperimen sebesar 140,52 lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata kelompok kontrol sebesar 135,04 Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan strategi CTL lebih baik dalam mengembangkan sikap peduli lingkungan dibandingkan dengan ceramah. Perbedaan sikap peduli lingkungan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol terlihat pada indikator yaitu 1) Membersihkan sampah-sampah yang menyumbat saluran air 2) Tidak membakar sampah di
sekitar perumahan.

Abstract
This research aims at finding out the effect of the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on environment care attitude of grade 4 student in SD Negeri Selang. This research is a Quasi Experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design using an experiment group and a control group. The experiment group was given the CTL treatment while the control group was given the lecturing method. The research variables consist of free variable, that is CTL, and bound variable, that is the environment care attitude. The participants were all students in class IVA and IVB in SD Negeri Selang with the total number of 42 students. Methods of data collection is a questionnaire to collect data on environmental care attitude , and observations to gather data about the
learning process .The instruments used were questionnaire sheets and observation sheets. The data was then analyzed by using descriptive statistics by comparing the post-questionnaire mean score of the experiment group
and that of the control group. The result shows that there is an effect of the use of CTL on grade IV students environment care attitude in SD Negeri Selang, Wonosari, Gunungkidul regency. It is shown by the postquestionnaire
mean score result where the experiment group’s mean score, that is 140.52, is higher than that of the control group, that is 135.04. Furthermore, it also shows that CTL method worked better than the lecturing method in developing the environment care attitude since students could actively learn through experiences and find the materials that are being learnt by themselves so that the learning process becomes more meaningful. These results indicate that learning using CTL better strategy in developing a caring attitude to the environment than a lecture . The difference between the environmental care attitude experimental class with the control class looks at the indicators : 1) Clean garbage that clog waterways 2 ) Do not burn trash around the housing .
