PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK TERHADAP KEAKTIFAN SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA KELAS IV DI SD MUHAMMADIYAH PENDOWOHARJO

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA kelas IV. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah Pendowoharjo. Kelas IV B sebagai kelas eksperimen diberi penerapan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA. Kelas IVA sebagai kelas kontrol diberikan pembelajaran ekspositori. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan membandingkan nilai rata-rata dari hasil observasi keaktifan siswa akhir antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil observasi akhir
keaktifan siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol, yaitu 73,77>42,62 . Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA mempunyai pengaruh positif
terhadap keaktifan siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah Pendowoharjo.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of scientific approach toward involvement of students in science learning 4th grade. The research is quasi experimental research. The subject of this research is 4th grade students
of SD Muhammadiyah Pendowoharjo. 4th grade B as experiment class was given treatment implementation of scientific approach in science learning. 4th grade A as control class was given expository learning . Data collection techniques used observation. The instrument in this research used observation sheets. The testing of hypotheses done by comparing the average from last observation score of involvement students between experiment class and control class. The results of research showed that average value of the last observation involvement students in the experiment class is better than control class, that is 73,77>42,62. Based on it can be concluded that the implementation of scientific approach in science learning have positive effect toward involvement fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Pendowoharjo.
