PENGARUH POLA ASUH ORANG TUA TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR IPS KELAS V SD SEGUGUS 1 KECAMATAN WATES TAHUN AJARAN 2016/2017

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak pengaruh pola asuh orang tua autoritatif, permisif, dan otoriter terhadap prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas 5 SD se Gugus 1 Kecamatan Wates.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas 5 SD se gugus 1 Wates yang berjumlah 7 SD pada bulan Juni tahun 2017. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 SD se Gugus 1 Kecamatan Wates yang berjumlah 230 siswa dengan batas ukuran sample 128 yang didapatkan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, kemudian dilakukan pengambilan sample secara acak menggunakan probability sampling jenis simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pola asuh orang tua menggunakan skala psikologi dan prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas 5 menggunakan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian ini diujicobakan kepada 27 siswa. Uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji linearitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji chi square.Hasil penelitian yaitu pola asuh responsiveness (penerimaan) berpengaruhsebesar 5,7% dan pola asuh demandingness (tuntutan) berpengaruh sebesar 11,9 % terhadap prestasi belajar IPS kelas 5 sekolah dasar segugus 1 Kecamatan Wates tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether or not the influence of authoritative parenting, permissive parenting, and authoritarian parenting parents toward the learning achievement of social studies grade 5thstudents of the elementary school in a Wates 1 sub-district.The type of the research was quantitative research with an ex-post facto method. The research was conducted in the 5th grade elementary school of Wates 1 sub-district which amounted to 7 elementary schools in June of 2017. The population of this research was grade 5th elementary school students in a Wates 1 sub-district,numbered 230 students with sample size limit 128 obtained by used Slovin formula, then does random sampling used probability sampling of simple random sampling type. The technique of collecting data was used psychology scale and the learning achievement of social studies grade 5th students used the documentation of final score exam. The test of prerequisite analysis used the test of normality and linearity. The data analysis technique used is chi-square. The result of research was significance value equal to 0,008 and less than 0,05 so there was an influence among authoritative parenting, permissive parenting, and authoritarian parenting parents toward the learning achievement of social studies grade 5th students of the elementary school in a Wates 1 sub-district academic year 2016/2017.
