SIKAP PENERIMAAN SOSIAL SISWA REGULER TERHADAP SISWA ABK DI KELAS ATAS SEKOLAH DASAR INKLUSI 1 NGULAKAN KULON PROGO YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan: (1) sikap penerimaan sosial siswa reguler terhadap keberadaan siswa ABK, dan (2) variasi penerimaan sosial siswa reguler terhadap siswa ABK di SD Inklusi 1 Ngulakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix method dengan model Concurrent Triangulation Strategy. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 5,7 % siswa SD Inklusi 1 Ngulakan memiliki sikap penerimaan sosial sangat tinggi, 34,6 % siswa SD Inklusi 1 Ngulakan memiliki sikap penerimaan sosial tinggi, 28, 8% siswa SD Inklusi 1 Ngulakan memiliki sikap penerimaan sosial sedang, 25% siswa SD Inklusi 1 Ngulakan memiliki sikap penerimaan sosial rendah, dan 5, 7% siswa SD Inklusi 1 Ngulakan memiliki sikap penerimaan sosial sangat rendah. Dari data kualitatif disimpulkan bahwa pada umumnya siswa SD Inklusi 1 Ngulakan tidak menerima apabila siswa ABK memiliki sikap, sifat dan kepribadian yang negatif, tetapi menerima kekurangan atau kebutuhan khusus siswa ABK.

Abstract

This study aims to know and describe: (1) the attitude of social acceptance of regular students to the existence of children with special needed and (2) the variation of social acceptance of regular students to the existence of children with special needed at SD Inklusi 1 Ngulakan. This study used the approach of mix method and the types of research was Concurrent Triangulation Strategy. The result of this study show 5,7% students had a very high in the attitude of social acceptance, 34,6% students had a high level in the attitude of social acceptance, 28,8% students had medium in the attitude of social acceptance, 25% students had a low level in the attitude of social acceptance, and 5,7% students had a very low level in the attitude of social acceptance. Based on the qualitative data, it can be concluded basically the students of SD Inklusi 1 Ngulakan do not accept the ABK students if they have a negative attitude, a negative characteristic, and a negative personality but the regular students can accept the weaknesses of children with special needed or their special needs.
