Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran kooperatif-jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SDN Sendangadi 1. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian menggunakan PreTest PostTest Control Group Design. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas lima SDN Sendangadi 1 yang berjumlah 60 siswa, dengan objek penelitian hasil belajar kognitif IPS kelas lima. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tesdanobservasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan banwa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran jigsaw mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPS siwa kelas lima SDN Sendangadi 1. Hasil tersebut dibuktikan dengan adanya kenaikan 35,21 % dari nilai pretest. Rata-rata nilai pretest yaitu 53,56, sedangkan rata-rata nilai posttest yaitu 72,41. Selisih antara rata-rata nilai pretest dengan rata-rata nilai posttest adalah 18,86. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat dimaknai bahwa kelompok eksperimen memiliki perubahan hasil belajar yang lebih dari kelompok kontrol.

Abstact

This research is aimed to find out the effectiveness of Jigsaw Cooperative learning on social studies learning outcomes of 5th grade students at Sendangadi 1.The type of this research was quasi experiment. This research used PreTest PostTest Control Group Design. The research was conducted on the 60 fifth grade students of SDN Sendangadi 1, object of this research wassocial studies cognitive learning result of fifth grade students. The data collection techniques were test and observation. The data were analysed by using descriptive statistics.The results showed that Jigsaw cooperative learning was effective to used in social studies learning for 5thstudents at Sendangadi 1 elementary school.The result was proved by the increase of pretest score as 35,21 %. The average pretest score was 53,56, while the mean of posttest score was 72,41. The difference between the average score of pretest and the average score of posttests was 18,86. Based on the result of this research can be interpreted that experimental group had higher difference learning result than control group.
