PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR ILMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA SISWA KELAS IV B SD NEGERI TEGALREJO 3 YOGYAKARTA

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa kelas IV B SD Negeri Tegalrejo 3 Yogyakarta pada pembelajaran IPS melalui model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Jenis penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Metode pengumpul data menggunakan test hasil belajar dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor meningkat dengan menggunakan model PBL, yaitu pada siklus I dari test kemampuan awal dengan nilai rata-rata 61,31 menjadi 71,97. Pada siklus I hasil belajar aspek afektif dengan memperoleh skor rata-rata 21,07 (cukup) dan hasil belajar aspek psikomotor memperoleh skor rata-rata 24,57 (cukup). Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata pada aspek kognitif sebesar 78,04; aspek afektif sebesar 28,43 (baik); dan hasil belajar aspek psikomotor sebesar 32,62 (baik).

Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes of social studies in cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects using Problem Based Learning Model in fourth grade B SD Negeri Tegalrejo 3 Yogyakarta. This study used a type of action research. The data collecting methode was achievement  test and observation. The analysis methode were qualitative and quantitative description by using average score. By using Problem Based Learning Model the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of social studies learning outcomes can be improved. In the first cycle, average value was improved  from 61,31 into 71,97 for early proficiency test. Then for affevtive aspect gain an average score of 21,07 (medium) and psychomotor aspect gain an average score 24,57 (medium). In the second cycle, average cognitive 78,04; 28,43(high) for affective aspect; and  32,62 (high) for psychomotor aspect.
