PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN VALUE CLARIFICATION TECHNIQUE (VCT) TERHADAP SIKAP DEMOKRATIS SISWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) terhadap sikap demokratis siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn kelas III SD Negeri Gedongkiwo. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Experimental, tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SDN Gedongkiwo yang terdiri dari kelas Eksperimen (29 siswa) dan kelas kontrol (28 siswa). Obyek penelitian yaitu sikap demokratis siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala sikap demokratis. Validitas instrumen melalui expert judgment dan validitas secara empirik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan t- test independent yang sebelumnya telah diketahui normalitas dan homogenitas data. Diperoleh nilai rata-rata pada pre-test kelompok eksperimen sebesar 66,06 dan nilai post-test sebesar 73,72. Pada Kelompok kontrol rata-rata pada pre-test sebesar 67,00 dan nilai post-test sebesar 68,25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan penggunaan metode VCT terhadap sikap demokratis siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn yaitu sebesar 0,035 < 0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the using of Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning methods on the democratic attitude of students in the third grade Civics class at SD Negeri Gedongkiwo.This study was quasi-experimental study. The subject of the study was third grade students of SDN Gedongkiwo consisting of Experiment class (29 students) and control class (28 students). The object of research is the democratic attitude of students on the subject of Civics. The instrument used scale of democratic attitudes. Instrument validity through expert judgment  and validity empirically. Data analysis technique used independent t-test previously known normality and homogeneity of data. The average of pre-test experiment group is of 66.06 and the average of pot-test is of 73.72. The average of Pre-test control group is 67.00 and the average of post-test is 68.25. The results show that there is a significant influence of VCT method on students' democratic attitude on Civics subject is 0,035 <0,05.
