KEEFEKTIFAN TIME TOKEN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefktifan model cooperative learning tipe time token terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Samirono. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quasi experimental design dengan tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Samirono dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V SD Negeri Samirono yang berjumlah 33 siswa, dengan rincian 17 siswa kelas VA dan 16 siswa kelas VB. Kelas VA sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VB sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar dan observasi. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian populasi, sehingga teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya keefektifan model cooperative learning tipe time token terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri Samirono. Hasil penelitian tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil uji-t (t-test) pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan perolehan nilai t sebesar 2,203, nilai thitung > ttabel (2,203 > 2,042). Kelas eksperimen memperoleh hasil perhitungan selisih mean pretest-posttest sebesar 35,40 sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh hasil perhitungan selisih mean pretest-posttest sebesar 27,70. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat dimaknai bahwa kelas eksperimen memiliki perubahan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of time token on students learning achievement on Social Studies subject of the fifth grade students at SD Samirono. The research was quantitative approach and classified as a quasi-experimental study with Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The research was conducted in SD Samirono. It involved 33 students of grade V SD Negeri Samirono, Class VA (17 students) as the control group and Class VB (16 students) as the experimental group. The data were collected using test results of study and observation. Research conducted was the study of population, so the data analysis techniques was descriptive. The results of this study shows that the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of time token affected the learning outcomes of Social Studies grade V SD Negeri Samirono. It is proved by the results of the t-test on the control and experiments classes which gains 2.203 t value, a value tcount > ttable (2.203 > 2,042). Experiment class results calculation of the difference in mean pretest-posttest of 35.40 while gaining control of calculation result class difference in mean pretest-posttest of 27.70. Based on the results of these calculations, the experiment class has higher changes than the control class.
