Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika  untuk mencari keliling dan luas bangun datar serta mengetahui peningkatkan kemampuan  kognitif dan minat siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Margoyasan. Nama media yang dikembangkan adalah papan tangram. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan metode pengembangan menggunakan model Borg dan Gall. Pengembangan media pembelajaran ada sepuluh tahap. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan observasi, wawancara, tes dan angket. Penentuan tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran papan tangram berdasarkan uji validasi ahli materi dan media serta uji coba kepada siswa. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 29 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran papan tangram dinyatakan layak. Hasil validasi media papan tangram memperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,93 dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Hasil validasi materi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,875 dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Hasil angket respon memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,42 dengan kriteria “sangat baik”, hasil angket minat belajar siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,34 dengan kriteria “sangat baik” serta semua siswa mengalami peningkatan nilai.

Abstract

The porpose of this research is to develop a mathematics learning media to find the perimeter and area plane and to know the improvement of cognitive abilities and interests of fifth grade Margoyasan Elementary School. The name of media developed is the tangram board. The type of the research was Research and Development using Borg and Gall model. Development of instructional media there were ten stages. The technique of data collection used observation, interview, test and questionnaire. Determination of feasibility level of teaching media of tangram board based on validation test of material and media expert and test to student. The subjects of the research were 29 students. The results show that the feasibility level of tangram board media was declared viable through expert test and student opinion.The result of tangram board media validation obtained an average value of 3.93 so that entery the criteria "very good". The result of the validation of the material obtained an average rating of 3.875 with criteria "very good". The response questionnaire scored an average score of 3.42 with the criteria of "excellent", the result of the questionnaire of students' learning interest earned an average score of 3.34 with the criteria of "excellent" as well as all students experiencing an increase in value.
