PENGARUH ALAT PERAGA KARTU DUA WARNA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BILANGAN BULAT KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh positif penggunaan alat peraga kartu dua warna terhadap hasil belajar penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat kelas IV SD Negeri Kaponan Pakis. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian eksperimen dan desain pada penelitian ini adalah
quasi eksperimen design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Kaponan yang terdiri dari 14 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SD Negeri Ketundan 1 yang terdiri dari 13 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Kedua kelas tersebut relatif sama atau setara. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda yang
telah dikonsulasikan kepada expert jugdment dan telah diujicobakan. Setelah diujicobakan soal yang yang valid pre-test sebanyak 18 dan post-test sebanyak 15 soal. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif yaitu mendeskripsikan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran
menggunakan alat peraga kartu dua warna memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap hasil belajar penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat kelas IV SD Negeri Kaponan Pakis. Hal ini ditunjukkan rata-rata post-test pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,79 dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 75,31 dan
selisihnya sebesar 7,48. Dari selisih tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa hasil post-test kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif penggunaan kartu dua warna terhadap hasil belajar penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat kelas
IV SD Negeri Kaponan Pakis Magelang.

Abstract

This study aim to find out whether or not there was a positive effect of the use of two color cards as teaching aids on the learning outcomes of the addition and subtraction of integers in Grade IV of SD Negeri Kaponan, Pakis. This was an experimental study and the design was a quasi-experimental design. The study was conducted at SD Negeri Kaponan by involving 14 students as the experimental class and at SD Negeri Ketundan 1 by involving 13 students as the control class. These two classes were relatively the
same or equal. The research instrument was a multiple choice test which was assessed through expert judgment and was tried out. After the tryout, the valid items were 18 of the pretest and 15 of the posttest. The data analysis technique was descriptive statistics presenting mean scores. The results of the study shows that the use of two color cards as teaching aids had a positive effect on the learning outcomes of the addition and subtraction of integers in Grade IV of SD Negeri Kaponan, Pakis. This is indicate by the
posttest mean score of 82.79 in the experimental class and 75.31 in the control class and the difference was 7.48. The difference indicate that the posttest results of the experimental class were higher than those of the control class. Therefore, it can be conclude that there is a positive effect of the use of two color cards on the learning outcomes of the addition and subtraction of integers in Grade IV of SD Negeri Kaponan, Pakis, Magelang.
