PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI BILANGAN BULAT MENERAPKAN PENDEKATAN PMR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD N 1 Troso, Klaten pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat dengan menerapkan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik.Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas.  Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas IV SD N 1 Troso yang berjumlah 25 siswa, terdiri dari 13 siswa laki- laki dan 12 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan observasi.Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah 50% siswa dapat mencapai KKM.Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Pendidikan Matematika Realistik dalam materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV. Hasil Pretest menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mencapai KKM yaitu 8 siswa (32%).Pada Siklus I meningkat menjadi 13 siswa mencapai KKM (48%).Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan lagi yaitu 21 (84%) siswa mencapai KKM.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to improve the learning achievements of the fourth grade students at SD N 1 Troso, Klaten in the materials of addition and subtraction of integers by Realistic Mathematics Education approach. The kind of the research was a classroom action research. The subject of this research were the fourth grade students at SD N 1 Troso which consistof  25 students,those are 13 males and 12 females. Data collection used test and observation. Indicator of success in this research was if 50% student can achieved the KKM. The result shows that the implementation Realistic Mathematics Education in materials addition and substraction of integers can improve learning achievement of 4^th grade students. The result from pre-test shows that there were 8 student who achieved the KKM (32%). At the first cycle increased to 13 student achieved the KKM (48%). At the second cycles increased again to 21 student achieved the KKM (84%).
