Beberapa guru pendidikan jasmani Olahraga Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Wates Kabupaten
Kulon Progo DIY, ada yang belum maksimal dalam memberikan pertolongan pertama apabila terjadi kasus cedera
at pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahamanguru pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Wates Kabupaten Kulon
Progo DIY tentang pencegahan dan perawatan cedera dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metodesurvey. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket menggunakan tes soal pilihan ganda. Pengambilan data dilakukandi SD Mangunan Baru pada saat kegiatan kelompok kerja guru (KKG). Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian
ini adalah seluruh guru pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Wates
Kabupaten Kulon Progo DIY yang berjumlah 30 guru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptifpersentase.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah diuraikan dalam bab sebelumnya, dapat
dideskripsikan pemahaman guru Penjasorkes Sekolah Dasar Negeri Se-Kecamatan Wates tentang pencegahan dan
perawatan cedera sebagai berikut, kategori kurang baik sebesar 10,3% (3 guru), kategori “kurang” sebesar 31,0%(9 guru), kategori “sedang” sebesar 17,2% (5 guru), kategori “baik” sebesar 41,4% (12 guru).

Some sport physical education teachers of State Elementary School in Wates District, Kulon Progo
Regency, DIY, have not been optimal in providing first aid in case of injury during sport physical educationlearning. The research intends to figure out the level of understanding of physical education, sports, and healthteachers of State Elementary Schools in Wates District Kulon Progo Regency DIY on the prevention and treatment
of injury in physical education learning.
This research was descriptive quantitative research. The method used was by survey method. The datacollection technique was in the form of questionnaire using multiple choice test questions. The data were collected
at SD Mangunan Baru during the activity of teacher working group (KKG). The subjects used in this research
were all teachers of physical education, sports, and health of State Elementary School in Wates District KulonProgo Regency DIY of 30 teachers. The data analysis technique used percentage descriptive technique.
Based on the results of the research and discussion explained in the previous chapter, it can be describedthat the understanding of physical education, sports and health teachers of State Elementary Schools in WatesDistrict Kulon Progo Regency DIY on the prevention and treatment of injury as follows, the “less good” category
