Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa kelas III dalam mengikuti pembelajaran
pendidikan jamani melalui permainan tradisional. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang berlangsung
dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III III Di SD Negeri
Jagamangsan 2  yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi. Analisis
data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Pada siklus I kedisiplinan siswa sebesar
81,94%. Tindakan pada siklus I, kedisiplinan siswa belum memenuhi indikator keberhasilan. Penelitian dikatakan
berhasil jika tingkat kedisiplinan siswa sudah berada pada 86,00%. Dilanjutkan pada siklus II, bahwa semua aspek
kedisiplinan siswa mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus II kedisiplinan siswa sebesar 96,94%. Dengan demikian
dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan kedisiplinan siswa kelas III dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani
melalui permainan tradisional di SDN Jagamangsan 2.

Abstract
Discipline is an important thing affecting learning. The result of the researcher’s observation at Public
Elementary School 2 of Jagamangsan shows that Grade III students lack discipline in attending the learning of
physical education, sports, and health (PESH). This study aimed to improve Grade III students’ discipline in
attending the learning of physical education throught traditional games. This was a classroom action research
study conducted in two cycles each of which consisted of two meetings. The research subjects were Grade III
students of Public Elementary School 2 of Jagamangsan with a total of 24 students. The data were collected
throught observations. They were analyzed by quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the
study showed that Grade III students’ discipline improved after the action done by the researcher who acted as a
teacher. In Cycle I the students’ discipline was 81.94%. After the action in Cycle I, their discipline had not satisfied
the indicator of success. The study was successful when the students’ discipline was 86.00% at the minimum. In
Cycle II, all the aspects of their discipline improved. In Cycle II their discipline was 96,94%. Therefore, it was
concluded that there was an improvement in Grade III students’ discipline in the learning of psysical education
throught traditional games at Public Elementary School 2 of Jagamangsan.
