Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1)menghasilkan media pembelajaranmobile learning pada platform android berbasis App Inventor sebagai media pembelajaran mandiri fisika materi pokok elastisitas, dan (2) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok elastisitas menggunakan media mobile learning pada platform android berbasis App Inventor. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang mengembangkan media pembelajaran pada platform android berbasis App Inventor untuk membuat aplikasi pembelajaran mandiri fisika materi pokok elastisitas. Aplikasi yang dikembangkan digunakan pada subjek uji coba terbatas, yaitu 10 siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Yogyakarta. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, guru fisika, dan pengadaan pre-test dan post-tes untuk siswa.Melalui pengolahan data yang didapat dari instrumen penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa: (1) media pembelajaran mobile learning pada platform android berbasis App Inventor pada pembelajaran fisika materi pokok elastisitas memiliki tingkat kelayakan dengan kategori “sangat baik”, dan (2) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok elastisitas dalam kategori “sedang” dengan gain score 0,54.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to: (1) developmobile learning media on android platform using app inventor as a source of self-study to improve educational outcomes on physics subject of elasticity, and (2) assessthe affect of mobile learning media using android platform based on app inventor as a source of self-study on physics subject of elasticity to student learning outcomes. This study is based on research and development study (R&D) which develop mobile learning on android platform using app inventor as a source of self-study to improve learning outcomes on physics subject of elasticity. The study will be limited on 10 students from SMA N 8 Yogyakarta in the use of mobile learning media as a subject sample. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test result, also the use of quesioner for media and subject expert, and teacher. The result of the study based on the data analysis show that: (1) qualification of the mobile learning media on android platform using app inventor as a source of self-study to improve educational outcomes on physics subject of elasticity classified to very good category, and (2) student learning outcome have gain score 0,54 classified to medium category.
