PENGARUH BACKSOUND MUSIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DINAMIKA NEWTON DENGAN STRATEGI QUANTUM LEARNING TERHADAP PENGUASAAN MATERI DAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK SMA N 1 PRAMBANAN THE EFFECT OF MUSIC BACKSOUND IN NEWTON DINAMIC LEARNING WITH QUANTUM LEARNING STRATEGY ON STUDENT’S MATERIAL MASTERY AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS OF SMA N 1 PRAMBANAN

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh backsound musik dalam pembelajaran dinamika Newton dengan strategi quantum learning terhadap penguasaan materi dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA N 1 Prambanan. Desain penelitian ini yaitu The Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X MIA di SMA N 1 Prambanan. Penelitian menggunakan dua kelas yaitu, kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Kedua kelas sama-sama menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning, namun pada kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan quantum learning diiringi backsound musik. Instrumen pengambilan data berupa tes (pretest-posstest). Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t untuk uji beda dan nilai standar gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan yang lebih tinggi. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu (1) Ada perbedaan peningkatan penguasaan materi dinamika Newton dan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan cooperative learning dengan quantum learning diiringi backsound musik dan peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran cooperative learning tidak diiringi backsound musik. (2) Peningkatan penguasaan materi dinamika Newton dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan cooperative learning dengan quantum learning diiringi backsound musik lebih tinggi dibandingkan peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran cooperative learning tidak diiringi backsound musik.

This research used 2 classes, they were experimental class and control class which is determined by cluster random sampling technique. Both classes used the same cooperative learning, yet the experimental class was treated by using quantum learning with music back sound. The data instruments were test (pretest-postest). The techniques used in analyzing data were the t test for different test and a standard gain value to determine the greater improvement. The results of the research were : (1) There are differences in increasing materials mastery of Newton dynamics and critical thinking skills between the class that applied cooperative learning by quantum learning with music back sound and the class that applied cooperative learning without music back sound. (2) The increasing mastery of Newton dynamics materials and critical thinking skills between the class that applied cooperative learning by quantum learning with music back sound is greater than the class that applied cooperative learning without music back sound.
