HE EFFECTIVENESS OF TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) MODEL TO THE LEARNING OUTCOMES INCREASE AND STUDENT ATTITUDE CLASS X SMK N 1 NANGGULAN
Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif dan sikap peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen, mix methodpretest posttest control group design pada peserta didik SMK N 1 Nanggulan dengan populasi seluruh peserta didik kelas X jurusan Agribisnis Pembibitan Kultur Jaringan (APKJ) terdiri atas 3 kelas dan berjumlah 95 peserta didik. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X APKJ 1 dan kelas X APKJ 3. Kelas kontrol diberi pembelajaran model konvensional dan kelas eksperimen diberi pembelajaran model Team Games Tournament (TGT). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi (KI, KD, nilai, foto), RPP, tes hasil belajar kognitif dan lembar observasi penilaian sikap. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis General Linear Model–mixed design untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1)model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) lebih efektif daripada model pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif dan sikap peserta didik, (2) model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) lebih efektif daripada model pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, (3) model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) tidak lebih efektif daripada model pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari peningkatan sikap peserta didik. Kata-kata kunci;Team Games Tournament (TGT), hasil belajar, sikap Abstract This study aimed at finding out the effectiveness of Team Games Tournament (TGT) model to the learning outcomes increase and student attitude.The type of this study was quasi-experimental research, mix method pretest posttest control group design, for student of SMK N 1 Nanggulan and the population was all student of class x APKJ, among other things, 3 classes and numbered 95 students. The study subjects were class x APKJ 1 and APKJ 3. The control class was using conventional model and the experimental class was using Team Games Tournament (TGT) model. The study instruments were documentation (main competence, base competence, learning outcomes, picture), lesson plan (RPP), cognitive learning outcomes test and attitude assessments observation paper. This study was using General Linear Model - Mix Design analysis to testing hypothesis study.The findings showed that: (1) Team Games Tournament (TGT) model is more effective than conventional model in improving the cognitive learning outcomes and student attitude, (2) Team Games Tournament (TGT) model is more effective than conventional model in improving the cognitive learning outcomes, (3) Team Games Tournament (TGT) model is not more effective than conventional model in improving student attitude.
