PENGEMBANGAN LKS INQUIRY ACTIVITY BERBASIS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CURIOUS NOTE PROGRAM (CNP) GUNA PENCAPAIAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES DAN PENINGKATAN PENGUASAAN MATERI POKOK SUHU DAN KALOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT WORKSHEET OF INQUIRY ACTIVITY BASED ON THE LEARNING MODEL OF CURIOUS NOTE PROGRAM (CNP) TO USED THE ACHIEVEMENT OF SKILL PROCESS AND INCREASED MASTERY OF THE SUBJECT MATTER OF TEMPERATURE AND HEAT

Abstract


Intisari- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menghasilkan produk LKS Inquiry Activity berbasis model pembelajaran Curious Note Program (CNP) yang layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran fisika pada materi pokok Suhu dan Kalor, dan (2) Mengetahui kriteria ketercapaian keterampilan proses siswa dalam menemukan masalah, merancang eksperimen, memperoleh pengetahuan sains dan melaksanakan eksperimen dalam mengerjakan LKS Inquiry Activity berbasis model pembelajaran Curious Note Program (CNP) pada materi pokok Suhu dan Kalor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 4-D menurut Thiagarajan dan Semmel (1974:5). Tahap define merupakan tahap awal untuk mendefinisikan permasalahan. Tahap design dilakukan dengan mengembangkan rancangan awal Silabus, RPP, dan LKS Inquiry Activity dan instrumen penelitian. Tahap develope dilakukan untuk menghasilkan Silabus, RPP, dan LKS Inquiry Activity yang layak serta untuk mengetahui kriteria pencapaian keterampilan proses dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Kelayakan LKS Inquiry Activity dilihat dari skor skala 5 dari hasil validasi validator, reliabilitas Alfa Cronbach hasil pekerjaan siswa terhadap LKS Inquiry Activity, dan hasil respon siswa menggunakan skor skala lima. Tingkat keterampilan proses dilihat dari pekerjaan siswa pada LKS Inquiry Activity, sedangkan pemahaman konsep siswa dilihat dari skor posttest siswa. Produk Silabus, RPP, dan LKS yang dikembangkan diujicoba di SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta dengan 1 kelas (16 siswa) untuk uji coba terbatas dan 1 kelas (32 siswa) untuk uji coba lapangan. Tahap disseminate dilakukan untuk penyebaran LKS Inquiry Activity dalam skala yang lebih luas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) LKS Inquiry Activity layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajran fisika dan memperoleh kategori sangat baik dilihat dari hasil penilaian validator sebesar 4,34, Reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach dengan rata-rata 0,904 (sangat tinggi), dan hasil respon siswa 3,75 (baik). (2) Tingkat ketercapaian keterampilan proses siswa memiliki rata-rata 3,87 (baik) dengan rincian rata-rata nilai keterampilan proses dalam menemukan masalah 4,18 (baik), merancang eksperimen 3,91 (baik), memperoleh pengetahuan sains 3,62 (baik) dan melaksanakan eksperimen 4,41 (sangat baik). Kata Kunci: Curious Note Program, LKS, Inquiry Activity, Keterampilan Porses, Suhu dan Kalor Abstract- This research aims to: (1)To produce the product of LKS Inquiry Activity based on the learning model of Curious Note Program (CNP) which eligible to use for the learning process of physics’ subject on the material of Temperature and heat, and (2) To figure out the criteria of students’ achievement skills process in finding a problem, design an experiment, obtain a knowledge of science and conduct an experiment in doing LKS Inquiry Activity based on the learning model of Curious Note Program (CNP) on the main subject of temperature and heat. This research was a method of Research & Development (R&D) with the 4-D models by Thiagarajan and Semmel (1974:5). The define stage is the initial stage to define the problem. The design’s stage was done by developed a preliminary design of the syllabus, RPP, LKS Inquiry Activity and the research instruments. The Development stage was done to generate a syllabus, lesson plans and worksheets of Inquiry Activity that feasible and to determine the criteria of the achievement of process skills and understanding the concept of the students. The eligibility of LKS Inquiry Activity is viewed from a scale score of 5 validator validation results, the reliability of Alpha Cronbach the results of student work against LKS Inquiry Activity, and the student's response results is used a scale's score of five. The skill level of the process is seen from the student's work in LKS Inquiry Activity, while the students' understanding of concepts seen from posttest scores of students. The Product of syllabus, lesson plans and worksheets which is developed, were tested at SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta on one class (16 students) for limited trial and 1 class (32 students) for field trial. The Disseminate stage was made for a deployment of LKS Inquiry Activity in a broader scale. The results showed that (1) LKS Inquiry Activity are fit to use for the learning process of physics and obtained excellent categories viewed from the results of validator's assessment in the amount of 4.34, Alpha Cronbach reliability with the average of 0.904 (very high), and the results of student responses 3.75 (good). (2) The level of achievement of students skill process have the average of 3.87 (good) with the details of average value of skills process in found the problems 4.18 (good), designed the experiments 3.91 (good), acquired the science knowledge 3, 62 (good) and conducted the experiments 4.41 (very good).
