PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK (LKPD) EKSPLORATIF BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP DAN KETERAMPILAN MEMECAHKAN MASALAH PESERTA DIDIK THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN EXPLORATIVE PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING WORKSHEET (LKPD) TO IMPROVE THE MASTERY OF CONCEPTS AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS

Abstract
Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : (1) menghasilkan LKPD Eksploratif berbasis Problem Based Learning yang layak untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan memecahkan masalah peserta didik SMA kelas X; (2) mengetahui besar peningkatan penguasaan konsep peserta didik yang menggunakan LKPD Eksploratif berbasis Problem Based Learning; (3) mengetahui besar peningkatan keterampilan memecahkan masalah peserta didik menggunakan LKPD Eksploratif berbasis Problem Based Learning; (4) mengetahui adanya perbedaan peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan memecahan masalah antara peserta didik yang menggunakan LKPD Eksploratif berbasis Problem Based Learning dengan LKPD Konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan 4D Models (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Produk LKPD Eksploratif diujicobakan di SMA Negeri 1 Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta dengan 13 peserta didik pada uji coba terbatas dan 64 peserta didik pada uji coba operasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) LKPD Eksploratif Berbasis Problem Based Learning layak digunakan untuk kegiatan pembelajaran pada materi kalor pada peserta didik SMA kelas X; (2) peningkatan penguasaan konsep peserta didik yang menggunakan LKPD Eksploratif berbasis Problem Based Learning sebesar 0,76 dengan kategori tinggi; (3) peningkatan keterampilan memecahkan masalah peserta didik yang menggunakan LKPD Eksploratif berbasis Problem Based Learning sebesar 0,78 dengan kategori tinggi; (4) ada perbedaan peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan memecahan masalah antara peserta didik yang menggunakan LKPD Eksploratif dan LKPD Konvensional. Kata-kata kunci : LKPD Eksploratif, Penguasaan Konsep, Keterampilan Memecahkan Masalah, Problem Based Learning. Abstract The aims of this research are: (1) to generate an explorative worksheet based on problem-based learning that is suitable for tenth grade students to improve mastery of concepts and problem-solving skills; (2) to measure the increase in mastery of physics concept on the subject of heat by students who use developed explorative problem-based worksheets; (3) to measure the improve in problem-solving skills of the students who learn using developed explorative problem-based worksheets; (4) to discover the difference between the improve in mastery of concepts and problem solving skills of students who use developed explorative problem-based worksheets and those who use conventional worksheets. The method used in this research was 4D Models (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Explorative LKPD products were tested in Senior High School 1 Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta with 13 students on a limited test and 64 students on operational test.The results of development research shows that: (1) the explorative problem-based learning worksheet was suitable to be used for learning activities on the subject of heat for tenth grade students; (2) the mastery level of physics concept on the subject of heat by the students who use the developed explorative problem-based worksheets experienced an increase with standard gain of 0.76 with high category; (3) The problem solving skills of students who use the developed explorative problem-based worksheets experienced an increase with a standard gain of 0.78 with high category; (4) There was a difference between the increase in mastery of concepts and problem solving skills of students who use explorative problem-based worksheets and that of those who use conventional worksheets.
