PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MODUL MENULIS TEKS CERPEN BERDASARKAN TEKNIK STORYBOARD UNTUK SISWA SMA/MA KELAS XI
Abstract
The purpose of this research is: (1) describe an overview of learning to
write short stories in high school as well as describe the benefits of a textbook
lesson in Indonesian Language is used, (2) develop learning materials based on
short story writing text module engineering storyboards for students of class XI
SMA/MA, and (3) describe the appropriateness of materials module write text
short stories based on the technique of storyboards for students of class XI
SMA/MA.
This research and development refers to the 10 stages of the Borg and Gall
simplified into 5 stages, namely research and information collection, product
development, test validation, revision of the product, and test the product. Data
obtained from the Indonesian Language Lesson textbooks review, interview,
poll/questionnairedeployment, validation and test products, limited to students.
Results of the data review a textbook lesson in Indonesian Language and
interviews were analyzed by choosing things that are important, and drawing
conclusions in general, while the analysis of the question form, product validation,
and testing is limited to students the steps include: change the qualitative data into
quantitative data, tabulate all data obtained on every aspect, calculate the average
score, and change the average score into a category.
Results of the study are as follows. First, the interest of students in
learning to write short stories are still low. One cause is learning methods which
tend to be monotonous. Textbook lessons that use beneficial in Indonesian
Language learning, especially material short text writing. However, there are still
some weaknesses in the Indonesian Language lesson text books are used. Second,
the product was developed entitled write text short stories based on the technique
of storyboards for students of class XI SMA/MA. Modules are assessed based on
the contents/materialsaspects of worthiness, representation, language and
graphics. Third, write the text short learning modules on contents/materialsaspects
of the obtained score an average of 4.16 by category "good" presentation aspects,
obtain score an average of 4.24 with category "very good", the language gained an
average score of 4.08 with "good" category, and graphics aspects of the obtained
average score of 4.36 with category "very good". The score is accumulated and
produce score an average of percentages of feasibility with 4.21 84.2. So, write
the text module is a short story based on the technique of storyboards for students
of class XI SMA/MA very decent to use.
