KEEFEKTIFAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SINEKTIK DALAM KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PUISI SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 5 YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
This research aims to find out the existence of significant differences in
poetry writing of students who apply sinektik learning model and of students who
do not apply sinektik learning model. This research also aims to find out the
effectiveness of using sinektik earning model in poetry writing teaching and
learning process.
This research employed quasi-experiment method. Research design used
in this research was control group pretest and posttest. The population of this
research was students of class X in SMAN 5 Yogyakarta. Random sampling
technique was used in this research. Based on that sampling technique, class XF
was chosen as the experiment class and XG as the control class. The tests were
pretest and posttest in the form of poetry writing questions. The verification of
this research used SPSS 16 program. Data analysis technique used in this research
was t-test in 5% significant level.
The findings of the research show that based on the posttest of control
group and experiment group free sampling t-test analysis, it obtains the value of t -
4,125 with 62 of df and 0,000 of P (P<0,05). The analysis results of correlated
sampling of pretest and posttest t-test of experiment class are t -6,102 with df 31
and P 0,000 (P<0,05). The conclusion of this research is there is significant
difference of poetry writing skill between that of students who apply sinektik
learning model and that of students who do not apply sinektik learning model.
