PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS CERPEN DENGAN METODE SUGESTI IMAJINASI BERBANTUAN MEDIA LAGU REMAJA PADA SISWA KELAS X DI SMA NEGERI 1 NGAGLIK

Abstract

This research aims to improve the skills of writing a short story with the methods of
suggestion imagination by using teenage song to class x in SMA Negeri 1 Ngaglik.
Subjects in this research are student of class X in SMA Negeri 1 Ngaglik. This
research includes classroom action research. Execution and implementation procedures in
this research is devided into two cycles.the first cycle was divided into two gathering with
the method og suggestion imagination by using teenage song titled “Sahabat Kecil” and the
second cycle was also divided into two gathering with the method of suggestion
imagination by using teenage song titled “Jogja”. data obtained using the guide lines of
observation, observation report, questionnaires, interviews, and test. Data analysis
techniques in this research include the class action prosess done by qualitatively and
analysis of the result of action by using scores of the students work.
The result showed tah an increase in the implementation of the learning process in
some aspect, such as student activity seen from students who did not hesitate to answer
questions from the teacher, students attention is focused when the teacher explain about the
material to write short story and enthusiastic students in following the teaching of writing a
short story by creating a short story with imagination suggestion method using a media
teenage song. It can be known from the result of research during the learning process.
Product improvement can be seen from the process before the given action with average
62,94, whereas the average scores achieved by students in the fisrt cycle was 70,77. In the
second cycle, the average scores achieved by students was 79,70. Based on these
description it can bel concluded that the teaching methods of suggestin imagination using
the media teenage song can enchance the learning process and increase the scores of
writing short story class X in SMA Negeri 1 Ngaglik.
