IMPLEMENTASI VARIASI MENGAJAR GURU KELAS V DI SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI 3 BANTUL

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi variasi mengajar guru dan kendala yang dialami guru kelas V di SD Negeri 3 Bantul dalam menerapkan variasi mengajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data menggunakan langkah-langkah reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penerapan variasi mengajar pada variasi gayamengajar belumditerapkan pada semuapembelajaran;variasi penggunaan media dilakukan guru dengan terampil dan melibatkan siswa, namun media yang digunakan terbatas pada pelajaran IPA dan Matematika; dan variasi pola interaksi yang diterapkan meliputi pola interaksi satu arah, pola interaksi dua arah, serta pola interaksi tiga arah. Namun, metode pembelajaran lebih mendominasi metode ceramah. (2) Kendalanya yaitu: keterbatasan penerapan variasi gaya mengajar, keterbatasan media, kurangnya kreatifitas guru membuat media alternatif,media yang kurang terawat, dan pengalokasian waktu pembelajaran kurang baik.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the implementation of the teaching variation by teacher and the obstacle that experienced teacher who teach 5th grade students at 3 Bantul State Elementary School in implementing a teaching variation. This research’s type was descriptive qualitative. The research’s subject was 5th grade teacher. Data collection techniques used interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results shows that: (1) variation application teaches the variety of teaching styles not applied to all learning; variations in the use of media is already done by skilled teachers and engage students, but the media used is still limited to teaching science and mathematics; and (c) variations in patterns of interaction that was applied is a pattern of interaction in one direction, two-way interaction patterns, as well as the three-way interaction patterns. But, the methods learning dominate the lecture method. (2)The obstacles are:limited applicability variety of teaching style, the limitations of media, the lack of creativity of the teacher to make the alternative media, media that are less well maintaine, and the allocation of learning time is not good.
