Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan interaksi sosial siswa autis kelas IV SD N Gadingan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang siswa autis kelas IV berinisial AFF. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi sosial siswa autis adalah: (1) siswa autis memberikan respon saat di panggil; (2) siswa autis bisa melakukan kontak mata sekilas; (3) Siswa autis selalu menyendiri dan tidak berminat untuk bergabung dengan orang lain; (4) siswa autis tidak pernah bermain dengan orang lain maupun bermain sendiri; (5) siswa autis bisa mengekspresikan diri sesuai perasaan yang dialaminya,; (6) siswa autis tidak bisa memahami ekspresi yang ditunjukkan oleh orang lain; (7) siswa autis mengutarakan kebutuhannya melalui perbuatan dan kata-kata sederhana.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social interaction of a fourth grade student with autism in SD N Gadingan, Wates subdistrict, Kulon Progo district. The study was a descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of this research was the fourth grade student with autistm, who was called by the researcher AFF. The data collection techniques were done using observation and interview, which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. In testing the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation techniques and triangulation of sources. The results shows that social interaction of students with autism are as follows: (1) the students with autism give a very simple response when he is called; (2) the students with autism can make eye contact at a glance; (3) the tudents with autism are always alone and in no mood to join the others; (4) the students with autism do not ever play with others or pby himself; (5) students with autism can  express himself in accordance feelings he experienced; (6) students with autism can not understand the expression shown by others; (7) students with autism express their needs through deeds and simple words.
