MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL MELALUI METODE ROLE PLAYING PADA ANAK DI SD NEGERI 2 GOMBONG

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal melalui metode role playing pada anak kelas IIIB SD Negeri 2 Gombong, Kebumen, Jawa Tengah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IIIB SD Negeri 2 Gombong yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala dan observasi. Tindakan pembelajaran siklus I role playing siswa berdasarkan naskah drama. Tindakan role playing siklus II berdasarkan naskah drama yang sama namun perannya diubah. Siklus II difokuskan pada aspek kesetaraan yang masih kurang. Pembelajaran kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal melalui metode role playing menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal siswa. Peningkatan ditunjukkan dengan hasil skala kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal siswa. Peningkatan terjadi yaitu, (1) skor pre-test siswa 68 (rendah), (2) skor post-test I 84,5 (sedang), (3) skor post-test II 109 (tinggi). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa role playing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal anak di SD Negeri 2 Gombong.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability of interpersonal communication by role playing method for third grade students of SD Negeri 2 Gombong, Kebumen, Central Java. The kind of this research is Classroom Action Research. Subject of this research is 30 third grade students of SD Negeri 2 Gombong. The object of this research is the ability of interpersonal communication. The data collection methods are scale and observation. The first cycle of role playing action is based on the drama script. The second cycle of role playing action is based on the drama script but the students’ roles are changed. The second cycle is focused on the aspect of equality which is still lack of it. The learning process of interpersonal communication by role playing method shows the improvement in students’ interpersonal communication ability. The improvement can be shown by the result of students’ interpersonal communication ability. The improvements are: (1) the students’ pretest score is 68 (low), (2) the students’ post-test score on the first cycle is 84,5 (medium), (3) the students’ post-test score on the second cycle is 109 (high). Can concluded that role playing method can improving ability of interpersonal communication for student of SD Negeri 2 Gombong.
