EFEKTIVITAS TEKNIK ROLE PLAY DENGAN MEDIA WAYANG TERHADAP PENINGKATAN REGULASI DIRI SISWA SD BIBIS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas teknik role play dengan media wayang terhadap peningkatan regulasi diri siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Desain eksperimen dengan model nonequivalent control group. Sampel berjumlah 51 siswa dari seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Bibis yang dikelompokkan ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur regulasi diri yaitu skala regulasi diri. Koefisien alpha cronbach’s sebesar 0,949. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran awal antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen didapatkan nilai Asymp.sig2tailed 0,00 < a (0,05) yang artinya Ho ditolak atau ada perbedaan hasil pengukuran. Pengukuran awal dan akhir kelompok eksperimen didapatkan nilai Asymp sig.2tailed 0,00 < a (0,05) yang artinya Ho ditolak atau ada perbedaan hasil pengukuran. Pengukuran awal dan akhir kelompok kontrol didapatkan hasil nilai Asymp sig.2tailed 0,32 > a (0,05) artinya Ho diterima atau tidak ada perbedaan hasil pengukuran. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik role play dengan media wayang efektif untuk meningkatkan regulasi diri siswa kelas IV SD Bibis.

Abstract

This research purpose is to examine the effectiveness of role play technique with wayang on improving students’ self-regulation. The methods that was used on this research was experimental with non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this research was 51 students in total, they were from grade 4^th SD Bibis who are divided into experimental group and control group. Self-Regulation Scale was the instrument that used to measure self-regulation. The amount of Coefficient alpha chronbach’s amount 0,949. Data analytical technique was using Wilcoxon test. Based on the control group and experimental group pre-test results, the value Asymp.sig2tailed 0,00 < a (0,05) that means Ho rejected or there is differentiation on the assessment’s result. The result of pre-test and post-test’s control group showed Asymp sig.2tailed 0,32 > a (0,05), it means Ho is accepted or there is no differentiation in the assessment’s result. Based on the result, we can assume that role play technique with wayang puppet is effective to improve grade 4^th SD Bibis’s students’ self-regulation.
