KECEMASAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP KARIER ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kecemasan orang tua terhadap karier anak berkebutuhan khusus dan mengidentifikasi harapan orang tua terhadap karier anak berkebutuhan khusus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif studi kasus yang mengambil tiga pasang orang tua yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus sebagai subjek penelitian serta lima orang key informan sebagai informan kunci. Hasil penelitian kecemasan orang tua terhadap karier anak berkebutuhan khusus yaitu adanya kecemasan orang tua akan kemampuan anak berkebutuhan khusus dalam menulis, membaca, menyelesaikan sekolah dengan baik, berinteraksi dengan teman sekolah, memahami pelajaran sekolah serta tidak akan ada tempat bekerja yang akan menerima. Namun, terdapat harapan bagi orang tua terhadap karier anak berkebutuhan khusus  yaitu harapan kesehatan agar anak bisa sekolah, belajar menulis, membaca serta mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the parents’ anxiety towards children with special needs careers and identify the expectations of parents of children with special needs careers. This research is a qualitative research case studies that take three sets of parents who have children with special needs as a research subject as well as five key informants as key informants. The results of the study the parents’ anxiety towards children with special needs careers that their parents will worry the ability of children with special needs in writing, reading, finish school well, interacting with school friends, understand school lessons and there will be no place to work will receive. However, there is hope for the parents of the careers of children with special needs, namely health expectancy so that children can go to school, learn to write, read and develop their potential.
